My wireless phone stopped working suddenly and when i check phone settings, the dhcp server address changed to 1.1.1.1 and all other settings remain same. We have ip helper pointing on the switch pointing to external DHCP server.. Thanks

Hi,
the IP-Adress 1.1.1.1 usually belongs to the WLC. If you have the APs connected to a WLC, the IP-Adress shown as DHCP-Server on your clients will be 1.1.1.1.
This is ok, as long as you enter the IP-Adress of your real DHCP-Server on the WLC's interface (Controller->Interfaces->'YourClientNetwork').
Greets,
Sebastian

Yes the server address is modified by the WLC and it uses the virtual interface IP.
