I'm not sure if this is the best area to post this question, but...

I have several routers in a lab (for CCNP and CCIE study) connected to a DECServer 90M via console port. With this setup I can telnet to the DECServer's ip and specified Listener port (one for each router). I recently moved the setup to a new location. Now I cannot establish 2 way comms through the console port via the DECServer listener. When I boot the routers I see the boot sequence on the remote console, but once the routers are finished booting I cannot send them, or they do not respond to keyboard input. My assumption is that the DECServer configuration was not saved prior to shutdown. My question is what setting (flow control, baud, etc) when configured wrong would cause this symptom?
