Connection attempt to VCPIP redirected to VCA peer

Hi,

We have a couple 5540s (running version 8.0(4)) in vpn loadbalancing mode. Frequently we get the following log messages:

%ASA-3-713128: Connection attempt to VCPIP redirected to VCA peer x.x.x.x via load balancing

In the system log messages manual it says:

Explanation: This message appears when a connection attempt has been made to the VCPIP and has been redirected to a less loaded peer using load balancing.

Recommended Action: None required.

My question is why this message is logged at level 3 (error)? As far as I understand this is normal behaviour when the master redirects a VPN connection to one of the less loaded slaves.

We could set the log-level ourselves (using logging message 713128 level informational), but first I wanted to make sure that this message does not indicate an error.

It would be great if someone could clarify this!

Best regards,

Harry

see the bug CSCsx25628

CSCsx25628 - %PIX|ASA-3-713128 should be logged as a lower level message
