New install of UCM 7.0.2 hangs at "Database Installation" stage

Hi Everyone,

I've recently installed an MCS 7816 at a customer and it came shipped with UCM 7.0.1. I downloaded the two part 7.0.2 upgrade and burnt the ISO to a DVD.

I then started installing UCM and inserted the 7.0.2 upgrade DVD when prompted for a patch file.

I've now got to the post-install stage where it says "Database Installation" but then recommended time of 40min has been exceeded (now just over 1hr) anr it seems to have just stopped there....

Any suggestions?

Hi,

Did you ever figure out what was causing this? I am hitting the same issue. Gone through it twice now and it hangs at 'database installation'. DMA ran with no errors or warnings. Thanks!

Hi,

Turned out it was a hardware problem with the MCS so I issued a request to TAC with the SmartNET contract and for the motherboard replaced.
