Hi there !

I'm having a problem with dspfarm.. the router in using only the PVDM2-64 and PVDM2-32 ... those are onboard pvdm's

How can I start using the PVDM-12 cards that are in NM-HDV?

wit hDsp there is tow baisic commands

first you need to enable the dsp on the voice port

with dsp farm command in you case on both voice-card 0 and 1

voice-card 0

voice-card 0

dspfarm

no win your router you have a dsp chip on you r mainboard which is 0 and other one in card 1

u can share the DSP resource from the one on mainboard by issueing the following command

voice-card 0

dsp services dspfarm

u need ur voice card look like

voice-card 0

dspfarm

dsp services dspfarm

voice-card

dspfarm

use show voice dsp for troubleshooting as well

good luck

hope this helps

Actually, in order to share the PVDMs from different NMs all you need is dspfarm command under the voice-card as I stated earlier, dsp services depfarm allows you to configure the PVDMs for media sharing i.e. conferencing. These 2 get confused by folks all the time, but they have their own specific functions.

Hi,

I have just stumbled across this post.

Did you ever get this working?

I am struggling to get a HM-HDV with 5 x PVDM-12's to join a dspfarm that currently contains 4 x PVDM2-64's

Should this work?

Wow.... that’s a 2003 question.... I don’t remember if I solved that or how… sorry..

Now I have another voice gateway (2911 with lots of PVDM’s…)

Andrei.
