Is there a way I can visit a page on CME to view who is on a call? What is another easy way to do this? TIA.

you can check this out
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/ps7067/index.html
or use BLF for simplicity.

I need another application to be able to poll if someone is off-hook or not. What would be ideal is if that application could view it on the GUI front-end... http://IP/ccme.html
Have you seen something like that?

check out the call connector i posted. im not too sure (smoeone might be able to answer correctly) but if you are looking for your operator to view it like this i think arcexpress does this.
instead of shooting out different programs
do you need this for all phone users or just specific?

I think that would be a bit of an overkill. I'd just like a simple table of DNs with their on/off-hook status.
It needs to be for all users.
I'm looking at the /gui files and it looks like it might be possible to modify something to create a table from "show ephone | include Active Call". I could issue that command then play with the output to display it on the web page. Is it common to modify the files in the /gui directory?

youre probably going out of my realm of experience with the modification but if you do get through with something like that id appreciate a response.
good luck
