Cisco7600 : Send SIP200 OIR messages to syslog

Hello all,

We noticed today that while the SIP200 OIR events are sent to the local logs (buffered), they are not sent to our syslog servers, as the rest of the systems messages.

The missed message was something like:

SLOT 1: Feb 17 13:53:29: %SPA_OIR-6-REMCARD: Card removed from Subslot 1, interfaces disabled

a check on the specific SIP has shown us:

router#sh hw-module slot 1 logging

Syslog logging: enabled (0 messages dropped, 0 messages rate-limited, 0 flushes, 0 overruns, xml disabled, filtering disabled)

No Active Message Discriminator.

No Inactive Message Discriminator.

Console logging: level debugging, 37 messages logged, xml disabled,

filtering disabled

Monitor logging: level debugging, 0 messages logged, xml disabled,

filtering disabled

Buffer logging: level debugging, 37 messages logged, xml disabled,

filtering disabled

Exception Logging: size (4096 bytes)

Count and timestamp logging messages: disabled

Persistent logging: disabled

etc...

The router syslog config is smth. like this:

logging facility local6

logging source-interface Loopback0

logging x.x.x.x

Am i missing something here? Is there a way to enable syslog for the SIP200?

Thanks in advance
