A member of our IT staff recently attended a vendor presentation where one of the presenters was a Cisco SE. According to him, problems have been observed (and documented) with wireless connections being dropped on Macintosh computers when Vista clients are allowed to connect. I find no such issue here in these forums, or anywhere on the Cisco site. Anyone know anything about this issue?

There are issues anytime you even look at Vista much less use it. Run away run away!!! Seriously there are huge problem with the Vista wireless platform. It could easily mess with the preamble sizes etc.

Microsoft is even running away from vista.
Here is a recent blog that details an issue with vista & wifi

On a side note: We many see more issues with guest laptops running vista than we do with xp, mac or linux in regards to connecting to wireless
