We're upgrading our Cisco Works LMS from 2.6 to 3.0. However, we also
own Operations Manager and Service Monitor which are both tied into our current LMS
install. They are both tied into the database on the LMS server. Are there any issues
with upgrading LMS given our setup with OM and SM? Any prerequisites for OM or SM before
we perform the in place upgrade to LMS 3.0?

First, OM and SM cannot be installed on the same server as LMS. So I imagine you're doing DCR master/slave between the OM and LMS servers. This is fine. If you upgrade LMS to 3.0, you must make sure the LMS server is the DCR master. The OM server can still peer to this server.

Thanks,
Yes, it is correct. The LMS server is currently the DCR master. After the upgrade to 3.0,
do I need to do anything at all with OM and SM or is it seamless from the OM and SM
perspective?

You should restart Damon Manager on the OM server. And as always, make sure you have a backup of both servers before you begin, just as a precaution.
