I am trying to push an update via tftp to my IPS module, but am unsure of how to cable this.
ASA Internal Int: 10.1.3.1
ASA IPS Mod: 10.1.9.201
ASA IPS GW: 10.1.9.1
Do I need to cable my TFTP server directly to the IPS module, or does it go into the internal interface? I have tried both and my TFTP server is not showing any traffic.

The AIP-SSM module has it's own Management interface (it's the only ethernet jack on the face of the module). This needs to be connected to your TFTP server. Either directly (via a roll-over cable) or through a switch or router.
