Hi,

We have two PRI and 4 BRI lines installed in our Cisco 7206. But we are using only 45 channels live in our PRI lines. Now when i tried to increase the time-slot from 15 channels to 30 channels for 1 PRI line, its giving error message. I like to know how many DSP channels/slots will be available in Cisco 7206 Router board. Please find below our router and dsp details.

Error Message:-

Cisco7206Router(config-controller)#pri-group timeslots 1-31

Current dsp resources can support 26 timeslots;need 2 extra dsps to support the requested configuration

Cisco Router 7206:-

cisco 7206VXR (NPE225) processor (revision A) with 114688K/16384K bytes of memory.

Processor board ID 23677191

R527x CPU at 262MHz, Implementation 40, Rev 10.0, 2048KB L2 Cache

6 slot VXR midplane, Version 2.0

DSP details:-

Dsp firmware version: 4.1.41

Maximum dsp count: 30

On board dsp count: 30

Jukebox available

Total dsp channels available 60

Total dsp channels allocated 45

Total dsp free channels 15

You have two dsps shutdown. Take them out of that condition and if they prove faulty RMA the PA.

Hi,

How to enable these DSP's. How to make it UP.

Regards,

Vidhu

No shutdown.
