Cisco Unity new voicemails arrive automatically in saved folder

Strange problem. I have a customer who is running Unity 5.0. Suddenly, when an internal call (extension to extension) arrives at a phone and leaves a voicemail, the voicemal is automatically flagged as saved in Unity. It is not happening with every user. The unified messaging email that arrives appears in the inbox as unread. Also, external calls appear to work ok. Anyone have any ideas?
