Hi ,

We have WS-C6509-E with IOS disk0:s72033-advipservicesk9_wan-vz.122-33.SXH.bin" (SUP:VS-S720-10G ) .It has been running for last 25 weeks .

But now we are facing an issue in the access-list . we are seeing some junk characters in the access list which we created long back .

We are also sure that it was not there from the first onwards .

I am attaching the access- list out put

10 permit any (980 matches)

Standard IP access list Redistribute_static_deny}^A^P_^P_}^A+^R4M

10 permit 10.237.5.0, wildcard bits 0.0.0.255

20 permit 10.237.100.0, wildcard bits 0.0.0.255

30 permit 10.237.6.0, wildcard bits 0.0.0.255

We also done the below activities to to get away from this .

1, Created new ACL with same policy.

2, Applied the new ACL in the route-map.

3, Removed the old ACL from the route-map

4, Removed the old ACL.

Still the issue persists there . We can't remove the junk ACL .Can anyone please help me out from this issue .

Thanks in advance.

Regards ,

is "permit any" really the first statement in the list?

IOS stops evaluating the ACL as soon as a match is found. If you open with a "permit any" statement, none of the proceeding statements will ever be looked at.

Ever.
