IOS Collect Command

What version of IOS code must be running on WS-C3750G-48PS-E/WS-C3550-48-EMI in order to view the TOP TALKERS on ports? The SH TOP command in CATOS is very helpful and I am looking for a similar command but only in IOS. Most of the installed switches are at rev level 12.2(25)SEB4. Thanks in advance!

I don't think this is supported in CAT3750/3550 since "toptalkers" should be calculated on Netflow data.

I recall on another post that it was a 2 step process.

collect top 10 counters int all

sh top counters int report

I am just not sure what rev level of IOS code you must for the command to work.

Netflow data ? Can you explain. tnx!!

I don't think you can find this on the 3750. However, as a substitute, try using the following commands:

sh interface counters

sh controllers utilization

Toptalker will need netflow feature. But 3750/3550 does not support netflow feature. That's why you don't have "toptalker" on 3750/3550
