Anyone know what deferred collisions are on a port ? This is the only counter showing anything , no normal collisions show and no crc or fcs errors. Haven't found an explanation on cco on what exactly this is . Can this only be cause by speed/duplex mismatches and or fault patch cable? Our end is hard set to 100/full.

This is what I found so far:

"The deferred counter counts the number of times the interface has tried to send a frame, but found the carrier busy at the first attempt (Carrier Sense). This does not constitute a problem, and is part of normal Ethernet operation." -- Cisco's Definition;
