These log errors shouldn't be fatal, but just to be certain, try running the commands as root, or make sure you're in the casusers group, and that these logs grant write access to the group.

but what is about the last line:

'Problem in extracting data from UT Server'

Do you get the error *and* your expected output or does it just return the error or does it hangs up and the prompt never comes back?

which version of campus manager is this ?

in CM 5.1.1 I found that running cmexport to get UT data while a major acquisition is running will not be successful and even can require a restart of the LMS processes to get UT reports back working. As well a wildcard query in the GUI during a major acquisition is not possible ( UT > Reports, the 'Quick Reports'will be opened, then enter a * in the patternh field => the report runs forever)

this was introduced with one of the last updates but I am not sure whith which.
