Lost crypto-map config in 3725 router

Hi all.

I would like to ask you an strange situation we saw in a router Cisco 3725 with IOS 12.2(15)T17.

With all the config saved, when we reloaded the router all the config of the crypto-map dissapeared. Just the crypto-map, the rest of the config still was in the router.

Have anyone lived this situation in any router?

I have not seen that situation in any router. I wonder if the router might have 2 copies of IOS in flash, and if perhaps one version did support crypto and the other version did not support crypto. And I wonder if perhaps the router was running the version that did support crypto when you configured the crypto map but when the router rebooted it might have booted the version that does not support crypto. This would cause the crypto map to disappear.
