IPS will not log into the sensor

Before I restart the ASA, here is my problem....

I can log into the ASA, ASDM with no problem, however when i try to connect to the IPS through ASDM is says "error connecting to sensor. Error Loading sensor"....

Any ideas? I want to make rebooting the last option...

Can you ssh to the management IP address of the sensor? Rebooting the sensor is not your last option, re-imaging the sensor is.
