We are migrating from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2007 using the quest tool and using cobras to migrate the unity a/c's

The Unity ver is same on source and target (ver 5.0)

Some users have multiple mailboxes and one of these mailboxes has a Unity a/c

,when these mailboxes are migrated

and we run the cobras import, the migrated unity a/c connects to the wrong mailbox

How does cobras know which mailbox to connect to, it looks at which active directory attribute ?

COBRAS calls the SQLSyncSvr on the Unity back end which does all the directory hooking here - you can look in the SQLSyncSvrxxx log file found in the \commserver\logs file to see it searching first for the DirectoryID then by UID/Alias to find the user in the directory.

Not quite sure how you have multiple mailboxes for a single user right off hand - but the linkage here is all up stream from the COBRAS restore itself.

well, ah the user doesnot have multiple mailboxes but there are multiple mailboxes with same alias (exchange alias), attached sample screenshot.

We resolved the issue by changing the CN for the user, In another case I had to change the alias (exchange alias).
