IPCC Express - set time zone per script?

Unanswered Question

I have a server that's in CST but I'm configuring scripts for a site that will be in EST. Is there any easy way to modify the time within the script to reflect the +1 hour change?

I've been using variables to pull in the current hour then adding 1 hour to it. Only problem is I can't figure out how to tell the time of day step to use that time instead of server time.

Only way I can figure out how to get around this is by using IF statements to match against my currentTime variable. It works but it's messy as hell.

/* Set time +1 hour for EST

(server is in CST) */

Set timeHour = T[now] .hod +1

Set timeMinute = T[now] .min

Set currentTime = timeHour + ":" + timeMinute

Day of Week

Monday to Saturday

If (currentTime >= "10:00") Then

If (currentTime <= "15:00") Then

Goto ***After Hours and Emergency

Goto ***After Hours and Emergency

I have this problem too.

Well I did some more testing and found out what I posted above didn't quite work out as planned. I did figure out how to do it using military time and some....odd use of int and String variables and If statements.

What I ended up doing in about 15 steps and 5 variables could be done in one simple step if Cisco would just take some time to implement it.
