What does the output of 'show ver' display? It should contain an entry for maximum VLAN's.

Hi Dane,

You can configure VLAN interfaces on ASA5510 and greater using subinterfaces. Here is an example:

ASA(config)# interface GigabitEthernet0/1

ASA(config-if)# nameif

ASA(config-if)# security-level

ASA(config-if)# no ip address

ASA(config)# interface GigabitEthernet0/1.2

ASA(config-if)# vlan 2

ASA(config-if)# nameif

ASA(config-if)# security-level

ASA(config-if)# ip address

Hope that helps.
