Hi. We are using CUCMBE 6.1. Voicemail takes a long time to be delivered. It works fine, but there is an (apparently variable) delay of several hours before it is delivered (by which I mean annunciated on the phone). Any clues about where to start looking for why? Thanks!

Hi Bob,
Could you please try the following
1. Did you check the cpu of the voice mail server
2. Also If you could dial the voice mail number to check your self, it will be good,
3.Try to ping from the ccm server vlan to the voice mail server vlan to chcek for any network issue
waiting for your updates
Best Regards

Hi
Thanks for responding.
This is the CM "Business Edition" bundle - so the voicemail server is the same MCS appliance as is running CM. So there's no network issue between these servers as they are on the sanme hardware..
I'm not sure what you mean by check the CPU? - but the server seems to operate normally.
I have tested depositing a message myself and it takes at least 12 hours or so to be delivered.
We are using CCX for out-of-hours voiceprompts and I do't know if this is a factor?
Any other suggestions welcome!
thanks
Bob
