Why do you want the latest ? Often latest have more bugs than older ones.

You should update only when you have a problem, or desire a new features.

If you have a Cisco account with maintenance, the software tool will list all the software available for your 837. There are often several software "trains" for routers, and for instance for the 837, I see three in 12.4 and eight in 12.3. Openning any train would list the "newest" version first (there's also "Latest Releases").
