We have two non-Cisco, redundant firewalls at our office. Also we have two WAN ISP's. What type of Cisco switches would be sufficient to drop in front of the firewalls? We would only need 8 ports max, and all of them doing 100mbps is fine. Lastly, they would need to be able to VLAN - that's about it. Perhaps two 2960's would work? Their purpose is just to split the incoming WAN line into two wires; one goes to the active firewall, the other to the passive....everything here is 100% ethernet (including the WAN lines) Any suggestions??

If all you are looking for is L2 switching with 100Mbps ports then yes the 2960's would be a perfectly reasonable choice of switches.

Yep, that's pretty much it. The 2960's seem to have the horsepower for it - and I'm not looking to suggest something that is overkill for something so simple.
Thanks much! Looks like I have a PO to put together for management.
