Cisco View RMON

Hi,

I have installed LMS 3.0.1, mini RMON dont shown my devices (7606s), the error displayed is:

"Message

Failed to open Mini RMON manager for this device.

Cause

Mini RMON manager may not be supported on this device.

Action

Please check the Mini RMON package readme or online help for list of supported devices."

The software status is:

1. CiscoWorks Common Services 3.1.1

2. Campus Manager 5.0.4 29

3. CiscoView 6.1.7 29

4. CiscoWorks Assistant 1.0.1 29

5. Device Fault Manager 3.0.4 29

6. Internetwork Performance Monitor 4.0.1 29

7. Integration Utility 1.7.1 29

8. LMS Portal 1.0.1 29

9. Resource Manager Essentials 4.1.1

The devices patches status is:

Cat6000IOS 30.1

Where is the problem???

The 7606-S is not yet supported by the mini-RMON application (only the 7606 is). I don't see any ETA on support, so I suggest you open a TAC service request to see when an update is planned.

It's supported in CiscoView, but not in mini-RMON. If you read the mini-RMON release notes for package version 3.1, you will see that the 7606 is supported, but the 7606-S is not:
