I have a issue with corporate directory. Ext 8006 is only associted(device association as primary line) with user A and it is shared line for user B and C.Both alerting name and display internal caller ID which are coming under line configuration configured for name user A. But when user searching 8006 in corporate directory through phone it shows three name user A,B and C. It should be listed only user name A. What is the wrong in configuration ? Phone resides in a reomte site. so we need customer help to see what is happened in phone. To avoid this; is there any option to access corporate directory through HTTP page as phone. I know the option global directory in call manager.But there is no option for search by giving Extension number.

Check the Active Directory accounts if you are syncronizing.
Maybe the extension was carried over from the IP Phone field, or another field.

It was a confusion made by customer. Actually they can see different user name
like X,Y not B and C. What happend that Ext.8006 is added user configuration page of X and Y ( Simply put 8006 in tele phone number field ) Tht was they could see X and Y in corporate directory.Only Tellephone number field shows in corporate directory. No device association or any other field has influence corporate directory.

So they put x8006 in the telephone field of multiple user accts in AD?

Hi Rnadal,
Yes, But they put 8006 in user configuration page(callmanager)=> telephone number field. Not in AD because they doesn't synchonize AD with DC directory.
