Attendant Console: upgrade from CCM 4.1(3) to CUCM 7

We are using attendant console with CCM 4.1(3). If we upgrade the system to CUCM 7 (upgrade both software and hardware), are we able to use attendant console? Will we be able to make changes on the pilot points and hunting groups?

We are having 2000+ phones in the system, what would be the best solution for us?

yes, you're able to use AC if it was previously configured before. you can configure and change anything of AC, it the client you cannot download from CCMAdmin if it's a fresh install.

right now the AC for 7.x is available CCO and will be removed in about 45 days.

Hi There,

Does this then mean that AC will become unsupported after this date? should we be installing this on upgrades or should we be selling the Business Attendant Aconsole?

Thanks,

Stafford

I thought AC was availabel and supported via the upgrade path but not on a new install

it will be supported, again:

the original plan was for new installs only the new ACs were going to be supported, due to some issues for a limited time it's available on CCO and it's supported for new installs (i mean the regular old AC)

if you have one of the new ACs you also have support

if you had it before and upgraded via DMA or from previous linux version then you can download it from plugin page on CCMadmin.

the only difference is:

new install -> AC won't be in plugin page

upgrade -> AC will show up for download

any of the above is supported
