enabling flow control

Does anyone know if enabling flow control would impact network performance during production? I need to configure it on our SAN and it is almost impossible to take it down for maintenance due to the amount of servers running through our 3750 stack.

I've enabled flow control on a port during production, and it didn't bring the port down or anything.

But I enabled it on a port for a normal Windows server, and not a SAN.

Well i have two Equallogic iSCSI sans, a bladecenter and several physical servers on a stack of 3750s. I'll give it a shot. There is a lot of data flowing through the stack of 3750s though.
