Hi Jeff,

You must use the show mem on the LC (attach to it first or use exec slot X sh mem command)

Hi Laurent,

I think i found it on the sh diags command, im not certain though. is it the processor memory ?

#sh diags 3 | include Mem

Processor Memory: MEM-GRP/LC-128=

Packet Memory: MEM-PKT-512-UPG=

Processor Memory size: 134217728 bytes

TX Packet Memory size: 268435456 bytes, Packet Memory pagesize: 16384 bytes

RX Packet Memory size: 268435456 bytes, Packet Memory pagesize: 16384 bytes

Yes this is the all memory available on your LC.

Processor Memory size is used to store routing information (FIB and adj tables)

TX/RX packet memories are used to forward packets.

You can notice

TX+RX memory size = 512MB

Processor Memory size = 128MB

Hi Laurent,

Thanks for this info, somehow the 3GE LC worked after increasing the RouteMemory. It doesnt work on 128MB, it needs 256MB.

Also does my gsr support the 10GE LC? what is the difference between the Engine 2 and 3 on LC?

Thanks.

jeff
