LMS 3.1: ANI Server failed to run

Hi,

Recently we uninstalled LMS 3.0 and installed LMS 3.1.

But device discovery is not happenning.

It says ANI server is down.I checked in process, it shows the status of ANI server as "failed to run". I tried to start,after 2-3 mins again status shows as "failed to run".

Please help me out!!!

It appears your ANI database password is incorrect. Try shutting down Daemon Manager, then run:

NMSROOT\bin\perl NMSROOT\bin\dbpasswd.pl dsn=ani

Set the password to a known value, then restart Daemon Manager, and see if ANIServer runs.

ANIServer has nothing to do with Discovery in LMS 3.1. However, it should not be crashing. Please post the ANIServer.log and ani.log.

Problem has been resolved.

I done i reinstallation for custom setup option,during the installation entered the required password. And it strats working!!!
