I would like to start learning unity, but I'm really confused about which version to study on. What version of unity is commonly installed for medium size businesses. If I understand and know Unity, would this mean as well that I know U express and Unity connection or each of these 3 products work and are configured differently.

an other question, Cisco replaced unity by unity connection in the CCIE blue print, does it mean Unity is a dying product ??

I'm a newbie in IPT, so any comment is welcome.

thanks in advance

Hi Kayih,

Unity is the voice mail application that you install in a separate server and integrate it with the ccm.

uniy express is a network module installed in cisco routers and integrate with the ccm also but give fewer number of mailboxes.

for unity connection , i think it is the same as unity but iam not sure for that,i'll search for it and reply to you soon.

The famous version of unity now adays is 4.0
