For campus manager 5.1.1 error:

I have the Topology services message:

Connected to Campus Manager Server, Initializing...

Please wait until this window closes before launching another campus application.

I get this message hanging with the Topology Services window in the background.

I have enabled Java Console and have attached the console output.

First, check that the server's hostname, syntcwcm01 is resolvable from the client. Next, make sure TCP ports 42342 and 43242 are open between client and server. That is, you must be able to run:

telnet syntcwcm01 42342

telnet syntcwcm01 43242

From the client, and get successful connections to the server. If those work, please post the output of the pdshow command from the server as well as the NMSROOT/MDC/tomcat/logs/stdout.log.

jclarke,

Hostname is resolvable from client and both ports are open.

I can send you the pdshow and stdout.log via email if you email me your address. This is govenment equipment and the stdout.log contains restricted information that i cant post in this forum.

Thanks for you help.

If you cannot send logs to the forum, then you will need to open a TAC service request with this information.
