PRI config guide on ISR 2800-UAE

Hi,

I have terminated PRI into ISR 2800. All config is ok interims linecoding, framing, clock source etc. PRI line is tested by ISP-Ok.

But it shows E1 down in sh commands with the status LED yellow.

Is there any specific setting to be done for UAE regions??

Send output of "show controller E1", and check your cabling.

E1 is the same in all the world.

After issuing the same command i can get " receiver has remote alarm" rest all looks fine.

Check cabling, receiver is not seeing router signal.

You probably have a major cabling problem, which cabling are you using now ?

What is the cable that goes from router to telco ? Is telco 120 Ohm / unbalanced ?

Do you mean pins 1-2 and 4-5 of RJ-45? Are you respecting pair twisting ?

After the cable is OK, if still problems, the circuit is defective. There are no other alternatives.

Yes..it is 120Ohm/unbalanced...Pins 1-2 & 4-5 been used..As per the ISP the PRI line is tested OK...Any suggestions..

Invite SP on premises and have them place and receive calls using a test device, in front of you.
