There are two type of ACS, Cisco ACS Solution Engine which is an Appliance based and ACS software based which can be installed in the Windows and UNIX Machine.
If it is an appliance, it can be added to MARS directly as native device. In case of Software based, it needs to be added as a Reporting Application under host.
