Same Subnet across WAN

Guys

we have an application that needs to be on a specific IP and subnet. we have all local clients working, however, the customer wants to have remote branches connect to the system. the vendor has advised that the remote clients must be on the same subnet for this to work.

how can i acheive this using the Wide area network?

would bridging be applicable for this?

thanks in advance for all the responses.

There are a number of approaches but the "cleanest" way in my opinion is to use L2TPv3 which allows you to extend a L2 vlan across L3 routed links -

L2TPv3 if your routers support it.
