cucm 6.x appliance model - monitoring hardware

what is the best way to monitor and receive alerts for hardware issue on the HP linux boxes for example we have about 8 7845H2's. In the windows platform we able to monitor the box via the HP insight manager. Anything like it on these boxes?

Your best bet is to configure it in the SMTP alerts. If memory/processor or drives fail or have alerts, SMTP will email it out.

There are also SNMP alerts you can setup and then trap these on a collection device.

Try the RTMT (real time monitoring tool). it usually comes with the Call Manager.

You can view the CPU usage, memory, Alerts and set up email notification, etc using this RTMT

tool.
