Measure Bandwidth

we have upgraded our Internet Bandwidth from 256Kb to 2MB ; what tool or command can help to know if the bandwidth is really upgraded to 2MB.

Our ISP is in the same premises so we have Ethernet-Cable from them terminated on Router at our end.

You can use

SNMP polling - not very accurate

Netflow - accurate but need a netfow collector

Iperf can tell you if you're bandwidth has been upgraded to 2mbps
