Our customer have UCCM 7.0 already installed. He wants to implement the follwing service: when someone is connected to number XXX he listens back prerecorded info message (for example: currency rate). Customer should easy update new audio messages every day. How to implement this kind service without CCX or Cisco Unity?

Hi!
With Unity you can create a Call Handler with Extension = XXX and record an standard greeting for it.
Basically create a CTI Route point in CUCM with DN = XXX and with Call Forward all to Voicemail. Then in
Unity add a Call Handler with DN= XXX and configure the settings you need.
You can change greetings easily using the phone (greetings administrator) or within the server. For the end
customer it will be easier to use the phone, so if he owns the CH, he can login to unity and re-record the greeting
as required.
Check these links:

Hope this helps!

Teresa.

Thank you for quick response! But the question was about how to implement this kind of service WITHOUT CCX or Cisco Unity. For example: simple IP IVR tcl script which runs on Cisco IOS router or Cisco IP xml service for phone and so on.

Sorry! my bad, you can do it with a custom TCL script and H.323 GW. Unfortunately I'm not familiar with it as Developer Support team is the one in charge of helping with custom TCL scripts :)
