vm ports starting any TSP version 8.X and higher are used this way:

1, 2, 3, etc for incoming and N, N-1, N-2, etc for outgoing so match the algorithm

Is there any document stating the best practice?

i don't think i can call that a best practice, that's they way TSP works and you simply cannot change it

simply look at the integration guides for your applicable versions, they're available at CCO, look for them

What about in the Line Group configuration that the VM ports are in?

"simply look at the integration guides for your applicable versions, they're available at CCO, look for them "

I was in a pinch for a quick answer, that's why I turned to the forums. And you got me the answer. Thanks for that.

But, I wasn't looking to be lectured on being proactive.

Hey Guys,

Just thought that I would throw this in for anyone building Unity Connection 7.x

I thought the variance here was rather interesting;

Distribution Algorithm

(Without a Cisco Unity Connection cluster) Click Longest Idle Time.

Distribution Algorithm

(With a Cisco Unity Connection cluster configured) Click Top Down.

Hope this helps!
