Only 3 Ring Tones Are Listed

Hello,

I am currently running 7.0.1 on my UC. When I go into ring type on my 7960 phone, I am unable to pull up any ring tones.

Under Ring Type, when I select a line, it says "Requesting Ring List", then eventually just says 'Ring List Unavailable'.

I've uploaded a new copy of RingList.xml and DistinctiveRingList.xml, but it hasn't fixed the issue.

Please advise. Thanks

Hi Brian,

Be sure you have the phone loads in flash:/phones/79xx/ folders and in the config the following should appear for each phone type.If you have any question regarding the syntax please use the default configs found in the load zip file as a reference.

tftp-server flash:/ringtones/RingList.xml
tftp-server flash:/ringtones/DistinctiveRingList.xml

Now it seems to tell me much quicker this time that RingList & DistinciveRingList files cannot be found.

Is there a way to tell the phones where exactly to look for those files?

Figured it out.

Needed to add alias to all the ring tone entries in TFTP-SERVER.
