I have a CISCO 800 Series Router and here is the information about the ver filename "flash:c831-k9o3y6-mz.122-8.YN.bin". How can know which software to choose from so that I would have the most current version. I purchased the router in 2005.
Thank you

You
You have "IP/FW 3DES" feature set. Go to the following link to find the latest version to download. Make sure you have enough memory and flash size to support the new version.

Below is what is shown when I type "show version". I'm not sure where else to look for the "IP/FW 3DES" info and I don't see it in the show version text.

Feature set is based on the image name.
If you go to CCO software download site, you can find a image with the similar name "k9o3y6".
