Hi All,
we are using CUCM 7.0 and external paging system. The paging company said their system works with dry lines. So I have to connect speaker headset cable from one IP phone directly to paging system. This pair wire must be speaker feed. they are four wires, two for speaker and two for microphone. But I don't know which one is used for speaker.
any suggestion would be very appreciated.
Thanks
Alex

You need to be looking at adapters for this. One common provider of these is Bogen: http://www.bogen.com/products/telephonepaging/ I've never heard of anyone wiring up a headset cable off of an IP phone to do this.

Hi Alex,
I fully agree with Jonathan here (+5 points my friend) I have worked with Telephone system integrations to Paging setups for many years and have never had to take a phone apart to hook something up like they are asking you to do. Most likely you will use the TAMB as shown below and also in the Manual section from Jonathan's doc;
http://lib.store.yahoo.net/lib/cam-electronics/TAMBm.pdf
You will see that the TAMB answers the call via FXS on T&R and then bridges the audio across to the Paging Amp on dedicated (or "Dry") pairs. You will need this mid-point device. I have worked with others who have successfully used this product.
Hope this helps!
Rob
