Does Cisco CCM 4.x/7.x support SRST using the HSRP IP Address in the Device Pool Configuration.
CCM Device Pool Config only allow 1 SRST to be configured.
If I have 2 voice routers at remote site, how do i make use of the 2 voice routers to be used as SRST routers for backup for each gw?
thanks

Hi!
The HSRP solution will work as long as you have SRST configured on both routers :)
You can configure the SRST ref on the call manager as the virtual ip address of the HSRP.
Hope this helps!

Teresa.

SRST is not currently supported over HSRP and CSCtz96320 was opened.
It might work, but it is not recommended.
Technically, when you configure (in CCMAdmin) the SRST Group information, you are
telling the phone what router IP address to use when no CallManager is available.
For SRST, you would specify the virtual HSRP IP Address, instead of the interface
or loopback address you currently use. When the phone falls into SRST mode, it will
try to connect to this specified address, and HSRP will direct the requests to the
appropriate hsrp-active router.
Unfortunately the official standpoint is this is not supported.

Tere.
