My client is using VG with IOS c2800nm-spservicesk9-mz.124-20.T1.bin. However, when i'm trying to configure MGCP, on the D Channel port, i cannot find the * isdn bind-l3 ccm-manager* command.

I only can find the following command:

KR-BSN-VG(config-if)#isdn bind-l3 ?

q931 Select IOS Q.931

As a result, i was forced to use H323 instead of MGCP. Is there any reason why??

Would appreciated if anyone can shed some light on this.

Hi Hunt,

If you do a 'show run | s controller' do you have 'pri-group timeslot 1-24 service mgcp', or are you missing the 'service mgcp' command?

If so, you will need to shut the voice ports, Serial interface, and controller down, remove the pri-group, and replace it with the above command.

I tested this in the lab and this is most likely the case.
