CiscoView - 2960 interfaces representation incorrect

I am experiencing the following problem:

in CiscoView the interfaces of a 2960 switch are incorrectly represented. The first two interfaces should be fa0/1 and fa0/2 but prove to be gi0/1 and g0/2. All other interfaces are shifted two posititions to the right. The interfaces on 2950 switches in CiscoView are depicted correctly.

Information:

CiscoWorks Lms: 3.1

CiscoView: 6.1.8

2960 DevPack: 5.0

2960 Ios: 12.2(25)SEE LanBase

Actions taken:

Removal and reinstall of 2960 device package dit not solve the problem.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

This looks just like my 2960 in my lab. I don't see any evidence of port skew here (or on my 2960). Why do you think the first two ports are gi0/1 and gi0/2?

I based this conclusion on two observations. Fistly when I try to configure the top left port I get the output pictured in the first attachment. Secondly the interface status of the switch does not correspond to the CiscoView representation which you can see in the second attachment.

I have a feeling this has to do with the fact that your gig ports are connected. I don't have any 2960s with the gig ports connected, so I suggest you open a TAC service request so more analysis can be done.
