Hey Everyone,
In the past month I have had about 20 phones have QOS issues. If I browse to the IP address of the phone I notice a lot of jitter and Recr Discard entries sometimes I can hard reset the phone and the problem clears up, but most of the time I have to setup a new phone and call the old one defective. The MOS score will drop to 2.0-2.5. Could there be something else going on besides a defective phone? Any input would be great.

Hi Danny,
Check the firmware version, use the latest one available in CCO.
Isolate to specific calls and time of the day.
Check QoS settings in the network .

we have the same here, a variety of Phones reporting 2.0 - 2.5 with Jitter Values of 16-24 with no apparent reason. All QoS Settings seem to be fine, no errors, discards or anything in the LAN.
I was wondering if you ever found a reason for this behavior on your phones and if you would be kind enough to share it with me.
