call pickup button of 3rd-party SIP device

Hello,

I have registered 3rd-party SIP device(X-lite softphone) in CUCM 6.1 environment. I want to use call pickup feature with X-lite. Is this possible? If possible, how do I set up the button?

Why using a third party softphone when IPCP is supported and gives you all the features ?

With third-party products, if something doesn't work, you're on you own.

My customer was considering the introduction of 3rd-party SIP phone devices.And then, 3rd-party softphone on behalf of 3rd-party SIP phone devices will be used for testing purposes.

You will find that third-party devices are not a good idea for use with CM, because they consume more DLUs than Cisco devices, and their working, and features are not guaranteed.
