ACE Modules and SNMP

Hello Team,

I was informed by out monitoring team that the SNMP traps are being sent to the SNMP servers, but that it is reporting the device names with different IP addresses.

It seems that the ACE context is sending only the device name without the name of the context to the SNMP servers.

It there a workaround for this?

This will be fixed in A2(1.5) with ddts CSCsw34919.

Workaround, try to reboot the box.

BTW, did you configure the following first :

switch/Admin(config)# logging device-id ?

context-name Include context name in syslog messages

Yes, I added the command, but I still have the problem; I will reboot the modules this weekend. I am in the process of one day upgrade to A2.1.3, will the fix be in this version?
