I am trying to understand the hosted VOIP service. I understand how VOIP in the organazation works, with gateways, call manager and typically a WAN and PSTN connection from the gateway.
Now what I donbt understand is the hosted VOIP service..what sort of equipment does the service provider use, call manager still? A high level explanation would be most welcome.

Hope this helps.
