Receipts change via Advanced Settings Tool in Unity UM 5.0(1

After changing the Advanced Settings Tool in Unity UM 5.0(1) I have one user reporting they aren't getting Outlook read receipts in email anymore. We were trying to disable having the phone play the receipt as a voicemail. I'm trying to find another user to confirm this problem in Outlook.

Before Advanced Settings Tool change

User requests a read receipt for email, and read receipt was received via voicemail, mwi on phone would light.

After Advanced Settings Tool change

User requests a read receipt for email, and no read receipt is received.

Advanced Settings Tool, within the Unity Tools Depot - Administration Tools to exclude both all receipts and return receipts;

I have this problem too.

Hi -

The setting you configured removes receipts from the voice message stack, what the subscriber hears when checking voice messages by phone. I don't think there is a correlation with an Outlook user not receiving a read receipt. I would recommend checking the user's Outlook:

- On the Tools menu, click Options.

- Click E-mail Options.

- Click Tracking Options.

- Select the Read receipt - make sure this is checked.
